Amber Biotechnology is currently conducting research in collaboration with Iwate University, a national university corporation,The health and beauty benefits of amber are scientifically verified and utilized in product development.

Our predecessor company has already sold cosmetics containing amber, and from 2019 we are selling health foods containing "Amber Kenju Extract" useful for inner care. Currently, we are trying to develop functional foods for health, beauty, and longevity, and plan to sell these as well in the future. the beginning

A shocking encounter in Russia.

Mikio Yamano (current President of Amber Biotechnology Co., Ltd.) had a shocking encounter with amber when he found a mat covered with rough amber stones at a jewelry exhibition in Ginza in 2000. The mat was used in "amber therapy," an ancient Russian healing method. Amber therapy also includes amber-infused oils, ointments, and bath salts. 1

  Amber Biotechnology's predecessor, the Amber Research Institute, developed "Amber Extract" through over 10 years of joint research with the National Institute of Physical and Chemical Research (RIKEN) since 2004.
